
Alex's Story: From Fast Food to Finish Lines
BEFORE FITNESS
When I first started training with Alex in 2024, he was struggling with his weight and health. As he puts it:
"Two years ago, I was close to 260 pounds and gaining. My diet was mostly junk food and fast food, sometimes two or three times a day. I felt tired, in pain, and honestly, I was just going through life with blinders on."
THE TURNING POINT
Alex began training with me in 2024, and six months later, I challenged him to participate in an obstacle race, something that would become a pivotal moment in his fitness journey.


WHAT I LEARNED FROM ALEX'S JOURNEY
Alex's transformation has been one of the most rewarding experiences in my coaching career. I watched him go from nearly 260 pounds to maintaining between 160-180 pounds. More importantly, I saw him transform from someone who relied on fast food to an accomplished racer with 11 medals and counting.
What strikes me most about Alex's journey is his mindset transformation. He was initially resistant to running, but now he embraces challenges that once seemed impossible. As someone who has overcome my own health challenges, going from being on oxygen to running marathons, I find it incredibly fulfilling to see Alex follow a similar path of transformation.
